Some late night bed reading. Nighty-night!

I woke up yesterday feeling pretty out of sorts - not one, but THREE bad dreams set me off to an uneasy start. I tried cruising the net, tried to work out a way to make it to yoga, tried having some breakfast... no dice. "What else will cheer me up?" I think to myself. "I know - I'll do a photo essay of my day!" And thus, an entry was born.

One of my favourite things to do in Toronto so far is just walking around. There's so much to see, so many people everywhere and an absolute shit-ton of stuff going on all the time! Yep, if I ever get exiled from Vancouver for some reason, I would definitely consider moving to Toronto.

Something must've worked in my strategy to cheer up, because last night while I was lying in bed reading I was suddenly struck with inspiration and wrote the bulk of an article on safer sex for Xtra West. I've been doing bits and pieces of research for this article for about two or three months now, so it was incredibly satisfying for it to just naturally fall into place a matter of about 10 minutes. I think it's fairly safe to say that the more academic writing by Califia that I was reading would have been a strong contributor to this sudden inspiration.
