A quiet day for us. We drove around the rural area near our campground and found a beautiful park on Lake Ontario. During the winter, they flood one of the fields for ice skating.
Our campground held a party with canoes, kayaks, water toys and even a fireworks display. We walked along the Erie Canal that passes through the town of Lockport where the RV park is located, but decided not to take a boat ride down the canal.
We also stopped by Reids diner. We drove by it every time we left the RV park and noticed that there was always a line. It has no indoor seating - only a lovely shaded area with many picnic tables. The menu is limited to burgers &adogs with the special Reid sauce for $1, fries and sodas or shakes. The burgers were great but no lettuce or tomato.
