We escaped Riviere du Loup before the rains came and made our very short drive to Rimouski. Actually, we're on the west side of the town a bit. Rimouski is considered about the halfway point around the Gaspe. We settled in at our home for the next two nights; it's a combination motel and RV park but we have full hook-ups with 50 amp and a clear shot at the satellite signal so we are happy campers. We can also see the river just across the road. The rain found us so we've decided to just catch up on chores for the afternoon. It is damp, chilly, and windy; definitely a run-the-heat night.
