RED FOX
8/7 Thursday
Got on a shuttle at 7 a.m. On our way Eielson Visitors Center, and back, a total of 6 hour ride, we saw a herd of about 18 Caribou, 5 Grizzly Bear, a Wolf, a Red Fox with a white tip on his tail, some Big Horned sheep, and Moose.
Gayle saw a Grizzly Bear in the road ahead and shouted “DEAD AHEAD”, I think it woke the buss driver, he stopped the buss and the bear rambled off into the bushes.
Dan went for a bike ride later in the day without his camera and saw a Lynx (big cat).
