Chateau Frontenac

The Citadel

Old Quebec 1

Old Quebec 2

Today we toured Quebec City. We drove down some of the narrow streets just outside of the old city. The architecture of the buildings was an eclectic mix of gothic, victorian and modern. We then took an English tour of the Citadel, a large fort built on the cliff overlooking the St Laurence River. It was nice to hear English. We then walked through some of the narrow streets of the lower city and had very good ice cream at a small shop. The streets, small shops and cafes made it seem like you were in Europe.
