We've arrived for a three-night stay in Compton, Quebec. It's a time for some much-needed r&r [yeah, even RVers need a break from all the hustle & bustle of travelling/visiting/eating/sleeping!] - there's laundry to do....& we finally have the internet here, so need to get caught up on this journaling, which was all Wally's idea in the first place.... but guess who gets to do all the entering?! So, bear with me/us, as this is a new adventure in many ways.
We are having a spectacularly wonderful time - the weather's been great for the most part - we've met many wonderful people - we've been putting on weight....oops! - I didn't just say that! Today, being Thursday the 27th of August - we did some touring around in the local area here, & also went across the border into Vermont & New Hampshire. The four of us enjoyed some melt-in-your-mouth delicious philly cheesesteak wraps in Stewartstown, New Hampshire. Our cameras were intrigued by views of idyllic rural farmland/homes, covered bridges, water falls we "just happened" to come across, the guys crossed a gorge, we went to an applepie, etc apple place - the apple pie was applesolutely the BEST I've ever had!!......come with me on a picture tour....a picture is worth a thousand words, so here goes!!!
