Ok back in Yangon, we went back to our room in Nyaung Shwe after our bike ride as it was very hot at lunch time plus we did the town over in about 5 minutes. Were going to lay around and watch telly, but no power. Bloody Army, I tell ya, they are shocking. Anyway, managed to finish the book I was reading. Had a good nights sleep and up early and went to Heho for flight to Yangon. Oh and I didn't really, exactly fall off the bike but got my big toe caught between a bridge and the pedal and now have a whopping big blood blister.

Tony met us at the airport and took us to travel agents where we picked up 3 nights at the Park Royal for $60 a night including breakfast, bargain, and nice. This is where we had to stay in 2007 when we ran out of money as it is one of the few places you can get cash advances on your credit card. Cheaper this time as we still have some cash. Pete has been to the shop next door for some munchies and smokes, so cheap in there. Settled down in front of the telly and the Kite Runner come on, only not in English so watch a freaky movie called Last house on the left. Asleep by 10pm. Tiring stuff this touring around.

Up early and thankfully we have our coffee mixes so have a coffee before hitting the dining room where there is absolutely every type of breakfast you can imagine. We fairly pigged out on it all. Tony came by to take us to his flat for dinner. Far Out!!!!. Up 4 flights of piss smelling, steep, dark stairs to his flat. The flat was fine, tho very smokey from the cooking in the kitchen. There are only 2 rooms and a bathroom, which I was not going to even go near. Food was good except those bloody, little baby chicken bones again. At least Tony ate with us and didn't stand around staring at us. We really weren't that hungry after our pig out at breakfast. Took some pics of the family and watched a Wiggles dvd on the new dvd player that we bought in Singapore.

Dropped my camera card and a disc off at the photo shop for developing, cost 19870 Kyats, which is $19.80 in Australian money. So will spend tonight putting them in the little photo folders they gave us.

Went to Scott Market and loaded up with more souvenirs. bit worried that we will be over our limit from here to Singapore on Friday. We have paid for 10kgs excess for the trip from Singapore to home.

Anyway, thats it for another day in Burma/Myanmar.
