There is a serious amount of driving involved in going across Ontario, folks! We can now say we've done it, but we probably would find another way, next time!
A couple of stops along the way to see town monuments, especially at White River, where the WWI soldier found a bear cub and named him Winnie after his home town of Winnipeg. When he got to England he donated the cub to the London Zoo, where HH Milne found him and invented stories about a bear named Winnie. They had a statue of the Milne Winnie and plaques about the original bear.
We found the KOA campsite at Sault Ste. Marie (hereafter known as Soo, which is what they call it), and booked in for two nights.
