Well its been two weeks since my first post. Since then I have gotten a lot done. My last day of work was Friday the 11th. And right now I am in full swing with selling off most of the contents of my apartment. I can't say this has not been an emotional roller coaster, It has! There is a big part of me that is sad to see everything go. But I just keep thinking about where I'll be in a few weeks and the many life changing experiences that will surely follow. The last week or so I have been in a kind of no-mans land. Not there yet but not here either. Now I think I have gotten over the hump. My mind is more there than here.
I have to say, that the support of all my good friends has been fantastic. You know who you are... looking forward to the Bon Voyage party this Sunday. It will be the last time I see everyone for a while. And I really appreciate the send off from Kenny and Roni!!
I have been emailing back and forth almost on a daily basis with David, the owner of the boat I will be on. It is good, in that I am staring to feel like I know the guy even before I get down there.
