Hi all:
After a full year of working and living in Paris, I am finally home! The flight from Paris to Trudeau was 7h40mins and the plane landed safely around 9:30 am on Sunday 27th! I didn't sleep at all, at all!! I read a english cookbook as a going away gift from my landlord and they showed The Opposition and Star Trek on the plane. Going through customs was a breeze and they didn't check my luggage like I thought they might. I ended up catching a 2 hour greyhound bus ride from the airport to Ottawa. My friend Gulcan, (pronounced Gull-chan or Ginny) picked me up right on time.
I am temporary staying with Gulcan and her family in Orleans. Its really sweet because she gave me her room. We worked together at money mart over a year ago for three years. Her family is turkish so I've started to learn a little of the language and food.
My first goal is finding a job! I would love to find something permanent in Ottawa but I am willing to travel. I have over three years customer service experience, some call centre experience, and sales experience. Please keep your ears/eyes open for job postings and let me know. I'll keep you posted of my process.
Paris was amazing and a great experience. I am still tweaking at my online trip journal and organising photos from the whole year. If its possible, I would love to catch up.
