Our Hop On Hop Off Bus
Waking up was hard for everyone after getting to sleep after midnight the previous night.
Heather & Paul were up at 8am & were out the door by 9:30am to sort out tickets for the tours over the next few days. We left Samara & Isaac to have a sleep in. We couldn't have a better location to be based at being only a 1 minute walk down to Trafalgar Square.
We had a bit of a walk around & found our way to the hop on - hop off company where we got our tickets & went on part of one of the commentated tours around London for ~1 hour.
We passed most of the major landmarks such as Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Tower Bridge, Tower of London & the major parks. The complete loop takes just over 2 hours.
We got back to the room around 11am & found Samara up & getting ready but Isaac was still sound asleep, This is one of the first times where Isaac has slept in longer than the rest of us!
After getting ready we were out the door and jumped onto another hop on - hop off bus & saw some more sights, A cruise down the Thames to Greenwich is included so we caught a boat from near the houses of Parliament nad spent the next 90 minutes enjoying a comfortable river cruise complete with historical commentary.
We returned back to Trafalgar Square and enjoyed a meal of Fish & Chips at the Sherlock Holmes pub. Isaac & Samara returned back to room to catch up on Facebook/internet while Paul & Heather returned for another trip around London on the last hop-on tour of the day.
We fisnished off the day with a meal at an Italian restaurant just off The Strand.
Early start tomorrow with a full day trip to Stonehenge, Bath & Windsor Castle confirmed
