Museums, Harrods, Wimbeldon & We Will Rock You - Oct 8, 2009

Sleep in for the kids so Paul & Heather went off exploring to the National Gallery (we didn't see Mr Bean there)as well as the National Portrait Gallery. We saw some recognizable pieces including Van Gogh's Sunflowers.

Wen't back home at 11:30am & the kids were just getting up so we gave them a hour or so to get up while we took the tube to Harrods. Hmmm,it makes David Jones look like a corner store both in range of stock & in price!

Picked up the kids & we took a train to Wimbeledon. It was a bit wet so we didn't get any tennis in so we did a bit of shopping in one of the malls ins central Wimbeledon. Train trip later we were having pre show meal aand then it was off to see We Will Rock You - the musical based on music by Queen. All very impressive but the girls still preferred Wicked.

Early start tomorrow before we head off on the Eurostar to Paris
