Where in the world........ travel blog

During our last 2 days in London we were able to see quite a lot with our tour guide Eric. We took the double decker bus across the city to St Paul's Cathedral, then crossed the Thames river walking towards The Tower Bridge and the Tower of London ( which isn't a tower at all, but a castle). The day was beautiful so we did quite a bit of walking, which also included viewings of the London Eye, Buckingham palace, Big Ben,Hyde Park, Trafalgar square, Piccadilly circus, the pinter china town hat London has and many of the beautiful parks they have in the city. Yesterday we went to St James's Park with a few beers and just relaxed for a few hours. What a beautiful park; full of ducks, birds, and squirrels:) My kinda scene.

We also had time to fit in a West End show, Chicago, which was amazing.

In London, I don't feel like I am in a foreign country, very similar to big cities in North America, and it is nice that I can speak the language.

I will update once more before we leave London on Sunday night.
