La Canelle, Le Defense & Cruising the Seine - Oct 13, 2009

Bought all day travel tickets that allow us travel on all public transport

Caught the bus to the top of Montmatre to see the Bascilla Sacre Coer. It is a Catholic church built in the 1600s. We then caught the Funicular tram down the hill. Heather was hanging on

We then went out to La Defense. This is a business area with modern buildings and an impressive arch shaped building.

Travelled back into central Paris to catch a sightseeing cruise along the Seine

Dinner time we travelled out to see Raphaelle"s dad"s restarant called La Cannelle. We shared a few stories, had a great meal including in Isaac"s opinion the best hamburger on the trip and then travelled back into Paris to get some nighttime photos of the Eiffel Tower

Tomorrow is a travel day where we will be catching a plane from Paris to Frankfurt and then onto Hong Kong
