Hello from Bangkok

Hi All

Well arrived in Bangkok last night (we are 3 1/2 hours behind Adelaide time) I seem to be functioning on Adelaide time though keep waking up at ungodly hours..hehehehe.

Well I dumped my stuff at the hostel...after the cabby eventually finding it...and I took a walk down the main street. It sure was an eye opener..I had the expectations of what I saw but seeing it for real made it set in stone so to speak...You can buy Viagra/Cialis off the streets here as if buying lollies...Saw quite a few prostitutes and this is around 7.00pm at night...(no I was working for the extra cash) hahahahaha. I was chatting to the guy here at the hostel and he said that around 2am to 4am in the morning there are hundreds more....reason being for this fluctuation is a lot of businesses have shutdown hence they need the money so they do this type of work. Apparently men get approached every few feet they walk.

It is hot hot hot...what can i say 33 degrees but the humidity is overwhelming. My clothes were drenched after walking around for a couple of hours.

Well I am off to do some sight seeing....photos to come.....
