Nambung's national parks star attraction is the Pinnacles which is a bizarre product of natures elements wearing away at limestone into funky looking rocks (sure thats not the scentific explantion but i don't have the guide book with us).
Its about a 3km drive around the desert and you can get out and wander around, despite there being a storm all day we had a fun drive to Geraldton a cool little seaside town and then onto coronation beach which for $5 was an amazing place to sleep right on the beach.
Must say that petrol prices over here are ridiculous given the distances people drive!!!
