Hey it's Kira from Gaspe Bay,
We are in a nice cute not little campground called Forillion National Park! Which is in the very eastern tip of Quebec! The campground is right on the Gulf of St. Lawrence water! It is really pretty!
Today we went on a hike to a lighthouse. It was really neat. I was so glad we brought the binoculars because there was a lookout point where we saw all these wild seals swimming around a rock! They were so cute and it was so neat and cool! On the way up from the lookout spot we were cornered by a porcupine! At first I thought it was a baby bear, then my mom thought it was a badger and then we all agreed it was a porcupine. My dad threw rocks at it so that it would go away. Fortunately it did, it took it long enough! When we got up all the way from the look out spot people were taking pictures of a second one ( including us on the taking picture thing )!Later we went back to our campsite and had some lunch! After that we went to a lookout spot viewing the ocean! It was so prettyful! We saw a 2 wild seals, 1 dolphin and a 3 or 4 whales! When we saw one of the seals it was doing a little boogie in the water!
Here in Gaspe Bay people are still speaking French but I am getting used to it! My main line is Je ne parle pas Francais (I do not speak French) and so people usually start speaking English!
Yours truly,
