We arrived here yesterday and I have had a very good first impression of the City. We are staying at Tia Linda's house in the centre of Luanda. ... The house is lovely and in this blistering heat, the air con is a saviour! Thats what we have for ourselves in the lovley lovely town of Lubango in Southern Angola where we are gaining some respite from the sh1te potholed strewn road south from Luanda. ... Sunny Cabinda,Angola's main oil producing province,was the next stop on the journey southwards. ... Driving from Point Noire to the border with Cabinda was uneventful apart from the rather large storm that was threatening to blow the truck over. ...
