Nov 19, 2009 - Sydney

Ripped from today’s headlines in “The Australian Record” newspaper: “A surprise visit to Sydney from Fui Fui Moi Moi’s son will have to be included in Parammatta’s salary cap”. ...

Nov 11, 2009 - The journey continues!!
It has been a pretty long time since I last left a blog- so I'll try my best to remember as much as possible! The last couple of weeks have been quite exciting as I've decided to move house! A friend from work (Matt) and his brother have a spare room in Croydon (!) which is a suburb 5 miles from the city centre and not too much further from work! They are both lovely guys, and the area is so much nicer! It'll be great to be that little bit closer to the city as well.It has been a pretty long time since I last left a blog- so I'll try my best to remember as much as possible! After 200 km we drove into the mining City of Broken Hill and found a pleasant caravan park on the outskirts. ... Broken Hill is a large mining centre with all the usual services and good shopping. ... The mining areas are very evident in the town, but we found Broken Hill to be very interesting with a lot of history and many of the original old buildings still in use and well-maintained. ...

We are staying at a caravan park at Narrabean on the beach on the Northern shores of Sydney. ... This is a great position as it means we don't have to drag the caravan throught the busy streets of central Sydney. ... There is a bus stop right beside the van park and on Friday we got a bus to the wharf at Manly and then a ferry right into the heart of Sydney where we caught up with my cousin and also were able to go to the Apple shop where we drooled over the new laptops. ...
