We started the day by waking up to fog! We had a lazy morning because we had to wait until the lighthouse premises opened at 10, so we enjoyed the views in a fog bank. After that we went back into the middle of Bonavista town, and saw some historic old buildings. ... Although it was still cold and windy we could see patches of blue sky this morning so we decided to take our chances and head north to Bonavista at the top of the penisula. ... There is an exact replica of his ship docked at Bonavista. ... From Bonavista we headed south along the west shore, stopped for a bite to eat at Susy's Cafe at Newman's bay, then made our way back to Trinity. ...
