August 9 – Sunday A beautiful sunny day today with temperatures around 23 degrees – very nice to see the sun. It was a good drive of 465 kms along highway #1, into Ontario and to our campsite for the night at Davy Lake RV Campground at Ignace, Ontario. ... I took Gino & Reba for a run in the campground before we pulled out at about 10:00 a. at the Davy Lake RV Park near Ignace, Ontario. ... The boys wanted to start the day with a quick swim before we left. Then we made a questionable decision - to push on to Sandbar Provincial Park, which lay 11km north of Ignace, nearly two hours further east. ... Unfortunately, none of the kids could sleep well, it was very rainy, and there were many tears, lamentations, and eventually recriminations before we reached Ignace around 11:00. ...
