Pretty good start today. Then a quick exit to keep us on schedule to arrive early in Kingston. ... We had a yummy barbeque dinner and then the ever important trip to White Mountain Ice Cream in downtown Kingston. ... Jul 6, 2005 - Onward to Canada

July 5 saw a short run through the eight down locks to Oswego and the entry to Lake Ontario. Reports that it was improving were premature, but we committed to the 49 Nm passage to Kingston, Ontario, anyway. ... Out of Kingston, we soon entered Thousand Islands (really over 1800) These isles presented such a dilemma of choice for the anchorage that we meandered thru Admiralty, Navy and the Lake Fleet Island groups before we found a little bay off Endymion. ...
