This update and all the updates up to 39 Goulais River comes from a campground with a single internet dial up connection so the photos will have to come later :-( This day was a bit of a trip down memory lane. We were cycling to Nipigon, a relatively short day at 112km, but I added 40km by taking a side trip to Cameron Falls where I had lived when I was 7 to 10 and again when I was 14 and 15 years old. ... On the way back to camp in Nipigon I stopped at a house with a familiar name on the mail box. ... Jul 22, 2007 - Dryden to Nipigon, Ontario

Next weekend in Dryden is a big fishing derby which is part of the "Professional Walleye Trail. We continued on to Nipigon were we checked into a very nice little motel. ... In talking to the motel owner we found out that the pulp mill located in Red Rock, a few miles south had closed with-in the past year and that the plywood mill in Nipigon had burned down in February. ...
