Wake up call this morning at 6:30 and off the Luoyang at 8:am. ... Most everything is new and clean; even has internet access and a computer in each room!! Since the reopening of China in 1988, Luoyang is one of the 24 cities designated by the Chinese government for progress. ... Our journey to Luoyang consisted of a short, one-hour train ride to the capital of Shandong province, Jinan, with a connection to the 12 hour overnight train onwards to Luoyang. ...
