Dear Ones: We are safely arrived in our amazing hotel in Changsha, after a day that defies description. ... A full day of "transport" -- taxi from YMCA in Hong Kong to City Ferry Terminal to catch turbo-ferry, followed by bus ride to airport at Shenzhen to catch plane to Changsha, followed by one-hour busride to drop everyone off at their apartments (with a little wait for Alex and I in what appeared to be a dark alley with all our luggage for a wee while. ... The next day we will take a two hour bus trip to Hang Yeng for an official signing ceremony and to spend the night, and then come back to Changsha the next day. ...

An early night last night after the usual phone conversation rejecting a prostitute. Can you believe it! Well here I finally am settled into the Zhangjiajie Scenic Area, and what a time getting here. ... Accordingly, I thought I was being really clever, when I finally arrived in Zhangjiaje City Bus Station, and instead of getting a bus to Zhangjiajie Village, as I was going to, I saw (in Chinese as it were) that there was a bus for the Scenic Area itself, and got that instead. ...
