Yes you guessed it another early start this time ive got a banging head ache, the local plonk was so cheap we bought a couple of bottles last night. Which was fun playing tag with the same truck when it became hilly! We saw San Marino in the distance and by all reports didn’t warrant and extra 4 hours on our journey to detour of and being such a hot day we both voted against it, knowing our campsite that night had a swimming pool! Pretty soon we reached our destination, Camping Panorama is a delightful campsite set just south of Rimini in a town called Pesaro. ... 5/20 - 2:36 I'm on the ferry to Greece - getting to the ferry was probably the hardest part of this trip so far. I'm currently nurturing a grudge against Ancona - okay, not really, but I am considering this a cautionary tale of future avoidance. ... Well, after a long day's journey, I have finally made it to Urbino. I took a train from Florence to Bologna, then from Bologna to Pesaro. ... Fom Pesaro, I took a bus (a first for me in Italy) to Urbino. ... The trip was beautiful! between Bologna and here, I saw nothing but countryside, full of fields of sunflowers and lavender, and huge expanses of vineyards.Well, after a long day's journey, I have finally made it to Urbino. The ferry trip from Patras, on the north coast of the Peloponnese to Ancona in the middle of the east coast of Italy, takes about 20 hours (leaves at 5:00 p. ... The ferry follows the coast from Patras along Central Greece to Igoumenitsa and then past the island of Corfu and up the Adriatic Sea to Ancona, near Bologna, Italy. ...
