After a short run through of how everything worked (with Sandra paying special attention to the “dump” station requirements, we set off on our 200km journey to Bluff via Invercargill starting off with a beautiful drive passing the Remarkables on our left and Lake Wakatipu on our right. ... We arrived in Bluff late afternoon and managed to find the Argyle campsite, pulled up to a free birth and plugged in our attachment for power supply. ... We set up our picnic table and chairs and enjoyed our cup of tea and some biscuits – how typically English!!!! We then decided to have a wander to see what was around Bluff and also to see where the ferry port was as we need to embark there for our trip to Stewart Island tomorrow morning. ...
