Oct 6, 2009 - City of Pretoria (Tshwane)

Last night I was taken out to dinner, Werner is the perfect gentleman, have no idea where the place was, other than it was not in city centre, after dinner he took me back to his home which was a very nice thing to do, and we sat and drank wine on the veranda and it was so nice to catch up with each other, I also met his dogs, they are huge animals. As I walk through the gardens in front of the imposing building perched on the hill its easy to see how British this all is and its history, I have to say sat at the top, over looking the gardens, and the city of Pretoria you can almost transport yourself, to its hey day of British generals and the well to do sipping gin and tonics on the balcony Its spring here now, and the streets are lined with Jacaranda trees, which right now are in full bloom with the deep lilac flowers, sitting here on the top you can almost follow where the streets go for miles with the colour being so vivid. ... It’s a good job its down hill into the city, the sun is very pleasant but not scorching, I don’t think Kerry or Caroline would complain at these temperatures.Last night I was taken out to dinner, Werner is the perfect gentleman, have no idea where the place was, other than it was not in city centre, after dinner he took me back to his home which was a very nice thing to do, and we sat and drank wine on the veranda and it was so nice to catch up with each other, I also met his dogs, they are huge animals.
