I love a bargain and the trip here certainly was!! With some good bus information from our guesthouse in Bangkok we easily made our way to the bus station to catch a government bus to Ayuthaya. ... Our bus ride to Ayuthaya was a short 1. ... 35 each! All the lonely planet books say it is "low season" , but in Bangkok, and now Ayuthaya, guesthouses are packed with tourists. ...
