Saturday, 26 May 2007 Newquay to Hayle The campsite turned out to be quite noisy (being a Friday night) especially at around 1 am which is presumably when the bar closed, so we didn't get a great night's sleep - usually the way for the first night in the tent. ... The roads dropped steeply down into Redruth - I wasn't looking forward to coming back this way! Neither Redruth nor Cambourne seemed too enticing to stop in so we carried on the last few miles to Hayle. ... ) The Tourist information Office at the library in Hayle was closed so we went back and followed the sign to the Beachside Holiday Park which turned out to be up a hill north of the town and then up an even steeper hill over the dunes. ...
