We were up early again today as we have to pick up Anne’s brother Paul from Liverpool airport. ... His flight was delayed for over an hour due to dense fog in Liverpool, but once he arrived it was back to Ma’s house for what is fast becoming the traditional ‘bacon buttie’ breakfast. ... Paul had a surprise for Owen & LeAnne, he had been able to get 2 tickets to todays premier league English soccer game between Liverpool and Burnley. ... Surprises over, we all bundled into the car, leaving Ma at home, and headed to Liverpool. ... Liverpool is a city with a much more recent history than most of the places we’ve been, but what a history it is! It was an extremely wealthy centre of shipping during the 19th century, and the buildings downtown are magnificent. ... May 31, 2008 - Liverpool and back to London

Hey everyone, again sorry for the delays.its hard to keep up! So, we took it easy the first night in Liverpool since the hotel was right near the airport and the airport isn't near much, and the next morning we caught up bus into the city to get to our next hostel! Once we checked in, we headed out into the city (or just down the street really) to the Albert Docks to go and see the Beatles museum! It was just as good the second time around, but they were changing it and adding on to it. ... Apprently he played John Lennon's best friend in the movie In His Life:The Story Of John Lennon (I think that's what its called anyways), so we are waiting to get home now so we can watch and see!! So far in Liverpool to we had been having some not bad weather (we even had a bit of sun one day!), but when we got ready to take the bus to London the next morning, it was pouring rain. ...
