We headed up off of the Kenai on Friday. Doh! We stayed at the Eagle River State Park campground northeast of Anchorage this time. ... Her parents are retired military and live in Eagle River. ... Wimberley to Alaska!

Jun 10, 2008 - Hatcher Pass

6-10 Today we drove to Hatcher Pass, a high pass in the local mountain range, and found it to be still closed. We then went back to the Eagle River Nature Center where they released a juvenile bald eagle that had been rehabilitated. ... Timmer Alaska Trip

Jun 30, 2007 - A little bit Jersey, a little bit Scottish in AK

To start off with a minor sidenote, since we didn't write an entry yesterday - we took a stroll down Tierney memory lane and got to see the Taco Bell that a particular cool Tierney worked at, the old family house/old barn, and ran around trying to see if we could get a picture of Mt. After the lunch, we were all pretty beat after the 4 hour nap that we took so we headed back to Eagle River for a quick nap which turned into a night in with a little detour to Japanese food in Eagle River for some Sushi before bed. ...
