10-9-09 Six Flags Update A hazy sky accompanied us as we drove to pick Carol up from the Long Beach Airport, but while waiting in the cell-lot the clouds started to burn away. (He can say that 3 days later!) With darkness setting in and the air turning cold, we decided Six Flags had given us maximum thrill! The ride home down the I-5 corridor was slow and tedious taking two and a half hours to get back to Anaheim. ... Had a great drive from Quartzsite, AZ to Anaheim. ... ) But between Dawna the Navigator and the GPS, we finally made it to the Anaheim Harbor RV park. ... Sep 24, 2009 - Disneyland's California Adventure Park

Late start as everyone was zonked from the last few days- how are we going to be in 23 days time! The adventure Park opens at 9am but it took us till ~10am till we were up and organised to leave the room. After the ride Heather informed us that she had her eyes open for only about 10% of the time (when Emma who was giving her a running commentary told her that it was safe to open her eyes!) Credit to Emma for going on the Ferris Wheel & being rewarded with the best views in the park of Anaheim!! The highlight of the day was the Toy Story arcade interactive ride where you ride through various electronic shooting galleries collecting points for hitting targets etc. ... Samara was wearing her Anaheim Angel's baseball t-shirt today & a local came up to her late in the afternoon to seek solace after the loss of the LA Angels in today's game. ... Looks like we are starting to fit into local culture (unsure if this is a good or bad thing?) Aug 10, 2009 - So long, farewell

Last day of the tour today and have to say I'm quite looking forward to having a bit of alone time! It's been quite intense spending pretty much 24 hours with 50 people over the last 25 days! Fun though. We left Vegas late morning (thankfully after quite a late night/early morning!) and had lunch at In and Out Burger (another one crossed off the list, never to return to!) The tour ended in Anaheim where our hotel was literally across the road from Disneyland. ...
