So, how did we end up in Earp, CA you ask? Well, while searching for somewhere to stay in this general location we happened upon a deal we couldn't turn down. ... It's on the Colorado River in Earp, CA and Parker, AZ is on the other side. ... We loved the campground and agreed that the terms were worth the stay.So, how did we end up in Earp, CA you ask? We have been staying on the California side of the Colorado river in a 'town' called Earp. ... Earp has nothing but a few campgrounds. ... This area is beautiful in a stark, desert kind of way and it didn't surprise us at all to learn that the Parker/Earp area is part of the Colorado River Indian Tribes reservation. ...
