Today we entered a new state (Louisiana) and we traveled 278 miles for a two-day total of 527 miles, which is the most we have ever done in that time period. There are people staying in Baton Rouge who were displaced from New Orleans plus there are hurricane workers staying at the parks too. ... So, tonight we are just east of Baton Rouge, LA, at the KOA park off Highway 12. ... Not much to post for today--we had a great breakfast at a local place and drove for about 7 hours to Baton Rouge. ...
