Here we are in Boulder City - just outside of Henderson and Las Vegas and very close to Hoover Dam. ... The campground is very much a desert setting- no grass, cactus landscape, and NO TREES! Well, we made it! No mishaps this last leg of our journey. Boulder City, we knew, would be too hot for cleaning without air conditioning! (It was!) We made it home in record time. ... Tuesday, June 10 On to Boulder Dam 251 miles from the Grand Canyon, AZ to Boulder, NV Temperature when we left the Grand Canyon was in the low 70s, it was 113 at Hoover Dam -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Boulder Dam!
