We started our earliest day of our young journey on Friday morning. The park which is near Bath, New York, (now I relate to the subject line) is quite pleasant and there is quite a few things to do in the area, not the least of which are winery tours. ... Jul 14, 2008 - Finger Lakes Adventure
Greetings from the heart of New York's wine, gorge, and waterfall country. Explored around Bath, NY where we were camped. ... An old town with beautiful, early 1800s architcture, but it is obvious that there isn't enough money in the town to maintain the historic homes.Greetings from the heart of New York's wine, gorge, and waterfall country. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! 6/30-7/09 Lina and I spent these nine days at the Cardinal Campsite on West Hill, Savona. Events included visits from and to family and friends-- a most beautiful wedding--firemen's carnivals--fourth of July fireworks--cook-outs--dining at past favorite places--picnics on the Finger Lakes--renunion celebration with students 'class of 68'-- shopping--birthday parties--Fox Run Garlic Festival- -visiting the Bath Fish Hatchery with granddaughter & greatgrandson -- making new friends at the new campgrounds and getting ready for an endless summer with six month trip to Brazil on September 25. ...
