It seems that some of my great great grandparents have some connections to the Columbus area. ... A couple of hours east of San Antonio is the Colorado River campground near Columbus Texas. ... 05/15/09 Yes, I know, why are we still here in Columbus, Texas where it’s HOT (95* in the shade) and humid? First, we had planned on staying until the 19th ‘cause I want to have cable to watch the Preakness on Saturday and the last episode of Desperate Housewives on Sunday. ... If they put a camper in each available space, however, it would be way too close; we probably wouldn’t even be able to open our slides!!
