Texas to Florida: November 25 – December 7 As much as we loved Arizona, and with Las Cruces New Mexico forecasting snow, we knew it was time to move on into Texas. Desert was replaced by oil wells, followed by ranching country and the knowledge of a scheduled rodeo in Fort Worth. ... We were greeted with true Texan hospitality as we drove into Fort Worth. ... We were up at 5. The roads round here can be very stressful at times and it felt like we were on a Roller Coaster at one time as we were 4 fly overs up winding round, I was glad to get down to ground level!! While the RV was in we headed to Downtown in Fort Worth, some amazing buildings there old & new alongside each other. ... The building FlatIron-WAS the tallest building in Texas in the early 1900's was inspired by the Wedge-Shaped building in New York.We were up at 5.
